Autumn Food Foraging in Woodbank Park

Join experienced forager and wild food expert Jesper Launder, for an afternoon of exploring Woodbank Memorial Park for some interesting interesting edible finds.

Woodbank's fantastic mixture of habitats and native trees makes it the perfect place to make the most of the Autumn bounties that can be found in Britain's parks, woodlands and hedgerows. Apples, berries, nuts and mushrooms are just some of the treats that could be waiting to be picked!

Meet at Woodbank nursery from 2.15pm

*Paying for this event*

Our hope for the old nursery site at Woodbank is that it will become a thriving local food hub, and a place that people living in the surrounding communities enjoy and feel a part of. The events and activities we are running from the site are open to all. We have a small amount of funding to run these events and activities and to offer subsidised places to Stockport residents and / or those living on a low income. We'd like to make this funding go as far as possible, so please pay what you are able to. Thank you.
