A Bee Keeping Experience (10-11am)

Want to learn more about bees and get a taste of what it's like to be a bee keeper? Our expert bee keepers at Woodbank park are giving us an amazing opportunity to try it out.

Come and learn about the bees that live at Woodbank Nursery by speaking to their keepers. You will get to learn about their habits and communication methods by getting suited up and getting up close and personal with the hives!

The bee keepers will be providing suits, but you will need wellies and a pair of marigold washing up gloves for this activity. Please make sure you bring those along to avoid disappointment, as you won't be allowed to join the activity without them. If you don't have wellies don't let that put you off, email or ring us and tell us your shoe size and we'll see if we can find a pair of wellies to lend you (mail@kindling.org.uk or tel: 0161 818 8384)

The bee keepers are offering two sessions 1.5 hour sessions on the 9th, so if this session is already full when you try to book try the 1-2.30pm session.
